I'm the webmaster of the site. 

Pets, music, history, comparitive religion, sociological anthropology, human rights, travelling,learning, seeking the truth in all things.

Singapore, Guam, Mexico, Hawaii and all states in the USA EXCEPT Wyoming, Nevada, Utah, Maine, South Dakota and North Dakota.  Have been to the border of Canada, but never crossed. 

The world is more interactive than it used to be.  With the implementation of the web, texting, cell phones and other forms of communication it's a normal thing to communicate with people around the world daily.  Twenty years ago that was almost unheard of unless you were either a wealthy traveller or your employment caused you to travel extensively.

Because of this we have discovered that other countries and cultures do not share the same beliefs, politics and philosophies we do and that scares us.  What we once found comfort in is in question and fear leads to frustration and in some....anger.  In those who are fanatical it leads to acting out in violence or hurtful words.

My concern is that we aren't learning from the past and are shutting ourselves off to anyone who doesn't agree with our choice of religion, politics or culture. 

What am I doing to make things better?  I started this website where people can speak honestly, ask questions expecting to receive answers and NO ONE will be allowed to make rude comments to others.  This is a safe place to learn about different ways of living, to make friends and grow as humans.

The world is just a big blue marble after all....
